Mercury wins fifth consecutive, confuses the underlying sky

Sami Whitcomb struck five 3 points in the second quarter and finished with 17 points while Sutou scored 12 of his 15 points in the first quarter while Phoenix Mercury on a visit won a fifth consecutive victory, 107-86, above Chicago sky on Saturday.
Kahleah Copper scored 16 against his former team, with nine in the second half when the result was mainly in hand for the Mercury (11-4), which pulled 51.5% on the ground and made a summit of 17 to three points out of 35 attempts beyond the arc.
Kamilla Cardoso and Michaela Onyenwe scored 17 for Chicago (3-9), who pulled 52.6% on the ground but committed 21 reversals that led to 29 Phoenix points. Angel Reese scored nine years while making his only attempted goal on the ground. Reese, the WNBA rebound leader who entered an average of 11.7 per match, dropped only two while the sky lost for the fifth time in six games.
Phoenix took control in the first quarter and never looked back. With Sabally in mind, Phoenix recorded seven interceptions and scored 13 points in eight chicago reversals.
After the Cardoso basket obtained Chicago in 11-10 year olds, Monique Akoa Makani, Kathryn Westbeld and Katija Lasksa hit the 3 consecutive. Then Sabally crowned Sabally Phoenix 11-0 with his own score. Sabally scored seven points on the section to help give Phoenix an advance of 31-18 after a period.
Whitcomb then took over in the second quarter. After Ariel Atkins Bucket obtained Chicago in the 39-33 via a 7-0 race, the Mercury scored the following seven points, highlighted by the second 3 of Whitcomb. His last 3 in the district gave Phoenix an advance from 58-43 to half-time.
After Atkins (13 points) opened the second half with a 3, Phoenix scored the next 11 points, including five of Copper. The Mercury was ahead of Sky 34-15 in the third quarter.
