A few days after Tisdale’s tryout, Trainor shared a video on TikTok where she was seen sitting at her computer typing and staring at the screen.
The video’s caption read, “I’m finding out about the apparent mom group drama,” and the video was set to the song “Still Don’t Care,” one of her new singles from her upcoming album.
The 32-year-old singer’s video sparked a lot of reactions from her fans, who mostly thought she was wrong in her reaction. One fan slammed her, writing, “He’s the leader of the mean mom group,” and another wrote, “This proves Ashley’s point.”
Another pointed out that Trainor’s reaction, combined with Hilary Duff’s husband’s response, was to “give the high school away. Ashley was right.”

The mom group drama stems from Tisdale’s personal essay, published by The Cut. In the talk, she talked about her old group of friends, which included Meghan Trainor, Hilary Duff and Mandy Moore.

Following Tisdale’s explosive personal essay about his former close friends, Hilary Duff’s husband addressed the drama with a scathing social media post, which sparked plenty of backlash from fans.
Duff’s husband, Mathew Koma, shared a photoshopped photo of himself on Tisdale’s body from the photoshoot she did for the cover of her essay in The Cut.
He paired it with a sarcastic headline that read, “When you’re the most self-obsessed deaf person on Earth, other moms tend to focus on their little ones. A group of moms tell it all through a dad’s eyes,” according to The Blast.
One fan reacted to the sarcastic post, calling Koma a “pretentious asshole”, while another wrote that he “gave them a face”.
