Matthew Goode, known for his roles in the crown and a discovery of witches, recently shared that things were not always smooth at the start of his career.
The 47-year-old star shared that he was so shy that he would constantly blush while acting, adding that he had never imagined becoming an actor.
Matthew shared with the best British magazine: “My mother was in amateur dramatics, but the game was not something that I never thought of doing like a job until I could go to university. I did drama at university, then a friend to me, my roommate, I went to theater school, so I thought I would be just trying.”
The goalkeeper actor said that blushing in front of others, made him feel uncomfortable, but he did not let it be embarrassed. He continued and now looks back, feeling lucky to do what he likes.
“It was not easy because I was very shy when I started playing. I would blush all the time, which was so embarrassing. But I was very lucky, it paid. I always feel very lucky to do what I do,” he added.
In addition, Matthew recently revealed that he was actually happy that his character from Downton Abbey was not in the third film to come.
