An independent supervisory agency responsible for the application of a law against partisan political activity by federal employees opened an investigation into Jack Smith, the special council of the Ministry of Justice which brought two criminal cases against the candidate of the time, Donald Trump, before his elections to the White House last year. The special council office confirmed that he was investigating Smith on allegations that he has embarked on political activity thanks to his surveys on Trump.
