Mariah Carey discusses her “greatest competition” in the music industry

Mariah Carey recently discussed the false idea of taking the late Whitney Houston as her biggest competition in the past.
THE Everything I want for Christmas The singer thought about her dynamic that she had with Whitney during an appearance on Look at what’s going on live with Andy Cohen October 1st.
During the interview, the host asked Mariah if she had never taken Whitney to be her “biggest competition” in the music industry at the time, mainly because they both have their credit at the time.
However, the singer explained that it was the account of the public of the rivalry between the two singers she admitted was not at all true.
“These are the people who put us to hate us,” said the 56 -year -old man.
Mariah said to Andy: “It was the public who opposed each other.”
By thinking about her true experience with Whitney, the singer revealed that she and the late singer “had fun together” once they met.

Mariah shared that she and Whitney also interpreted the emotional ballad of the Oprah show the same year for their first television performance together.
The two stars also played the 71st Oscars together in March 1999.
“She was hilarious and just went with it,” added Mariah.
For the UNIVERSED, Whitney died in February 2012 at 48 years old while she was accidentally drowned in a bathtub at Beverly Hilton.
