Manchester United would be ready to try again for the potential transfer of the right on director of Brentford, Bryan Mbeumo, who is also a target for Tottenham.
The Red Devils should return with a new offer for the international of Cameroon, and they are supposedly calm about the competition of the Spurs, according to Sky Sports.
The report indicates that the UTD man previously failed with an offer of 55 million pounds sterling, but Brentford remains open to the sale of Mbeumo if they receive more than 60 million pounds sterling.
Mbeumo was one of the most productive attack players in the Premier League in 2024/25, scoring 20 goals and contributing seven assists in 38 games.
With United Entring a really poor season, it is logical that someone in the profile of Mbeumo appeared so much for them.
Bryan Mbeumo could take Manchester United to another level
Mbeumo may have taken a little more time to reach the summit than some players, but at the age of 25, he seems to enter what could be a very strong peak of his career.
Completing as the first joint scorer of the Premier League while playing for a team like Brentford must certainly not be sniffed at …
| Player | Games | Goals |
| Mohamed wrong | 38 | 29 |
| Alexander Isaac | 34 | 23 |
| Erling Haaland | 31 | 22 |
| Bryan Mbeumo | 38 | 20 |
| Chris Wood | 36 | 20 |
Given that United fighting so much for goals last season, it is clear that Mbeumo is just the upgrade they need on sub-performants like Marcus Rashford, Antony and Alejandro Garnacho.
The best MUFC scorers in the League were Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo, who both marked eight times in total.
If Mbeumo can take his form of Brentford with him at Old Trafford and connect well with the new signature Matheus Cunha, things might seem much more promising for the team of Ruben Amorim next season.
Will Bryan Mbeumo follow Thomas Frank in Tottenham?
One thing that should not be ignored is that Thomas Frank has just left his role as director of Brentford to replace Ange Postcoglou in Tottenham.
Mbeumo clearly played a big football under Frank, so it would be logical that he feels tempted to connect again with the Danish tactician with Spurs.
Sky Sports claims, however, that Mbeumo is currently looking at United.
