Man United Eye Federico Dimarco Transfer to replace Patrick Dorgu

Manchester United Manager, Ruben Amorim, only signed Patrick Dorgu last January, but his future could already be in doubt when Federico Dimarco of Inter Milan becomes a target.

It seems that the Red Devils could already prepare to make a change on this left side, Dimarco seeming to be a clear upgrade on Dorgu in Wing-Back.

The amorim system is based a lot on the right width players who can go up and down the sides to help defend and attack, and it would just be to say that Dorgu has been a little disappointing so far.

The Denmark international was much appreciated in his former Lecce club, but now United is looking for Dimarco for this role, according to Fichajes.

Although it may seem a little hard not to give Dorgu more time to settle and develop his game, Amorim is not someone who can afford to take much more time to bring United back to his best.

Dimarco could therefore be a better ready-to-use option on the left back, with Dorgu may be more an option for the future.

It will be interesting to see how this story is developing, but the 27-year-old was superb for Inter and it might not be too surprising if they were fighting to keep it.

United needs another high transfer window

United made a lot of changes this summer, signing a new goalkeeper in Senne Lammens, and a brand new front three in Benjamin Sesko, Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo.

However, this squad is clearly lacking in a few areas, and Amorim may well try to bring a upgrade to Dorgu as quickly as possible.

Dimarco is up there with the best in Europe in its position and it would certainly be exciting for MUFC fans to welcome international Italy in their club this winter.
