The latest role of Malin Akerman in “The Hunting Wives” was a dramatic turning point in the roles that the actress generally assumes.
The Netflix series follows housewives in eastern Texas who welcome them in a newcomer from Boston. The show is full of deception, hot scenes, secrets and murder. Akerman plays the role of Margo Banks and is married to an oil magnate that has become a politician Jed Banks (Dermot Mulroney). The star casting also includes Brittany Snow, Chrissy Metz, Jaime Ray Newman and Katie Lowes.
Before “The Hunting Wives”, Akerman was best known for his role as a wife of a healing fund manager in “billion”. The series of seven seasons was focused on “Power Politics in the World of New York High Finance”, according to IMDB.
