The Manchester United Fans group hit tickets last for Sir Jim Ratcliffe

The Manchester United Supporters Trust (MUST) was unleashed during the club’s new “model of categorization” which, according to them, will increase the price of tickets for match fans.
United revealed a system with four categories with the cost of a ticket dependent on the quality of the opposition. There are six category A games – against Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Newcastle and Tottenham – and two in the C category – against the Wolves and the newly promoted Sunderland – with the rest seated in category B.
Category D is reserved for cutting matches only.
Ticket categories are listed below:
- CAT D: £ 32 – £ 52 (Cup fixtures only)
- Cat C: £ 37 – £ 60 (2 x accessories PL)
- Cat B: £ 57 – £ 86 (11 x Accessories PL)
- CAT A: £ 59 – £ 97 (6 x PL assemblies)
The club insists that the move puts online “Manchester United with most of the other Premier League clubs”, but must say that it is “a new kick in the teeth for fans of Manchester United”.
A Declaration by Must Read: “After the way last season took place, we could hope that the club reconsidering its plans for this new ticketing model which will see an attractive price increases for 20,000 supporters per game that buy match tickets.
“When the club said they introduced this new model for members’ tickets, we urged them to keep the majority of matches at the current levels and apply the highest price category for a small number of the biggest games, and reduced prices for lower demand games.
“The declared commitment of the club towards the representation of fans is in principle, but once again, is not delivered in practice. The structure is in place, and the fans forum and fabulous representatives do their job, but the club does not respect their previous commitment to a good consultation and which must change and change quickly.”
