Holly Ramsay’s Fiancee Adam Peaty Reflects on His Darkest Days

The Olympian credits his newfound Christian faith as the strength that pulled him through his darkest time.

Adam Peaty has revealed he hit rock bottom in May 2022, describing how a broken foot became the turning point that sent him on a dark ‘special down’.

Following his double gold medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, the British swimmer admitted to enduring “three years of hell”, battling depression, alcohol addiction and the emotional burden of separation from the mother of his child.

After stepping away from competitive swimming to focus on his mental health, the Olympian credits his newfound Christian faith as the strength that pulled him through his darkest time.

Adam, who began dating his now-fiancée Holly Ramsay around this time, openly shared: “I’d rather have my faith and my relationship with Jesus and come second than have a gold medal.”

Holly was pictured on Thursday for the first time since her feud with Adam’s family surfaced, holding a phone case emblazoned with the word “Bride”.

The appearance followed claims from Adam’s relatives that they were left off the couple’s wedding guest list because they were “just people with benefits” who didn’t fit Ramsay’s class and style.

Family members have since accused the Olympic champion of straying from his Christian values by excluding them from the celebrations.

They also claimed that Adam disapproved of his mother’s outfit choices for the wedding, apparently sending her alternative options to wear instead.
