Bringing together two of the most followed worlds, cinema and cricket, the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL) is quite simply a success story. Since its inception in 2011, CCL has brought the best of both worlds, delivering the ultimate in drama and entertainment. Over the years, members of the Indian film industry have taken to the field, representing their respective national teams.

Delivering the most memorable moments, the CCL has seen 11 seasons go by and is back with 12^th edition, which will be played from January 16 to February 1, 2026. In these years, as many as six teams have won the CCL title, with Telugu Warriors being the most successful team. Here in this article, we have compiled the complete list of CCL winners.

CCL 2011: the rhinos of Chennai

In the inaugural edition of the Celebrity Cricket League (CCL), Vishal-captained Chennai Rhinos defeated Karnataka Bulldozers to win the first-ever title of the tournament.

CCL 2012: the rhinos of Chennai

The 2012 CCL, which returned the following year, saw defending champions Chennai Rhinos retain the title by once again defeating last season’s runners-up, Karnataka Bulldozers.

CCL 2013: Bulldozers of Karnataka

Captained by actor Venkatesh in the third edition, the two finalists, Karnataka Bulldozers finally ended their title drought by defeating Telugu Warriors in the summit clash.

CCL 2014: Bulldozers of Karnataka

The fourth season of the T20 tournament saw the Karnataka Bulldozers defend the title. Led by popular personality from the film industry, Sudeep, the Karnataka team defeated Kerala Strikers to win back-to-back titles.

CCL 2015: Telugu Warriors

After coming close to victory in CCL 2013, Telugu Warriors finally got their hands on it in the fifth season of the tournament. Led by actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, Telugu Warriors defeated Chennai Rhinos.

CCL 2016: Telugu Warriors

After their first ever victory in CCL 2015, there was no looking back for Telugu Warriors. They won their second title in the sixth edition under the captaincy of Akkineni Nagarjuna. Warriors defeated Karnataka Bulldozers to win a second consecutive title.

CCL 2017: Telugu Warriors

Coming into the tournament with back-to-back title wins, Telugu Warriors completed a hat-trick of victories by defeating Kerala Strikers this year to clinch the trophy, which is once again under the captaincy of Akkineni Nagarjuna.

CCL 2019: Heroes of Mumbai

After years of waiting, the eighth edition, which was held after a year’s gap, saw Mumbai Heroes win their first-ever CCL trophy. The Mumbai-based team defeated the Karnataka Bulldozers in the final that year.

CCL 2023: Telugu Warriors

After securing a hat-trick of victories, Telugu Warriors added one more trophy to their cabinet, winning the ninth edition. Once again under the captaincy of Akkineni Nagarjuna, the team defeated Bhojpuri Dabanggs in the final to win their record fourth title. Thanks to this, they also became the most successful team in the history of the tournament.

CCL 2024: Bengal Tigers

As the tournament gained momentum over the years, the CCL 2024 was won by the Bengal Warriors, who defeated the Karnataka Bulldozers in the summit clash to win their maiden CCL title.

CCL 2025: Punjab De Sher

The 11th^th The edition, which was played last year, saw Punjab De Sher end their trophy drought. The Harrdy Sandhu-led team defeated Chennai Rhinos to win their first-ever CCL title.
