The film Alien Invasion of the 1990s of Mark Hamill is a battle that weighs

Mark Hamill is best known for his representation of Luke Skywalker from Star Wars and the Joker in Batman: the animated seriesBut that does not mean that we cannot also celebrate its outings on a budget like the 1997 Laserhawk. Although Hamill is not the hero of the day LaserhawkAlthough his face is stuck in all promotional material, his support role is invaluable for history.
A slightly sloppy science fiction experience, Laserhawk Tells a fun story about extraterrestrial kidnappings, comics and military huts with the type of ambitious film b charm which is difficult not to appreciate.

Laserhawk Centers on Zach Raymond (Jason James Richter), a joker who succeeded in orchestra an UFO hoax that attracts national attention. The United States army confronted it and confirms that the images it has shot was a false, made possible with miniatures and a green screen configuration.
Caught in the act, Zach is forced by his parents to obtain dinner work because his father thinks that his life lacks direction. There, he meets Cara (Melissa Galianos), a fan of Goth comic strips who calls him for stealing the design of UFO from his favorite series.

Zach swears that design came to him in a childhood dream and haunted him since. Laserhawk The initial tension comes from the distrust between Zach and Cara, but once again the UFOs appear and begin to remove the people of the city, the two realize that there is something bigger connecting them.
The truth is foreign that fiction at Laserhawk
With their city in a state of panic, Zach and Cara find the author of the comic strip, MK Ultra (Gordon Currie). The writer reveals that his so-called fiction work was based on the ramblings of a mental patient named Bob (Mark Hamill). MK worked in the institution where Bob was held, recorded his diatribes and used them as a source material for comics.

Bob, who claims to be the reincarnation of a foreigner of 250 million years LaserhawkConvince Zach that they shared the same visions that inspired the comic strip and that they were chosen to save the planet.
On a low budget, but not without its charm

Laserhawk To his limits as a heavy science fiction film on the design of creature in the third act, but he always makes a watch in the afternoon. Richter, Galianos, Currie and Hamill are well played with each other as they try to resolve the mystery and expose a concealment of the government.

The Hamill bob, freshly escaped from a psychiatric institution and leading to a strongly guarded military base disguised before being immediately captured, perfectly sums up the energy Laserhawk brought. This is the kind of camp is worth watching.
With a larger budget and a little more stars power, Laserhawk Could have been a greater than life science fiction adventure for the whole family. It still works, but some sequences are difficult thanks to the resources limited behind it. Even so, it is a swine watch with a surprisingly tight scenario that does not exceed its welcome.

To date, you can broadcast Laserhawk free on Tubi.
