Last on Jaylen Waddle, Benito Jones, Darren Waller and more

Miami dolphins were disappointing in the first two weeks of the NFL 2025 regular season. They lost against the Indianapolis 33-8 colts in week 1 and was beaten 33-27 in a division match against the New England Patriots on Sunday.
In the midst of increasing pressure on Mike McDaniel and Tua Tagovailoa as we approach week 3, Miami must start looking for solutions to save his season.
The next dolphin match could be the most difficult this season to date. They should face the Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen heated by the red in a football match Thursday evening.

Miami Dolphins injury report for week 3 TNF
Dolphins deal with injuries to certain key players before their week 3 game against the Buffalo Bills. With the right -wing right -of -right goalkeeper James Daniels and the Starting Right Tackle Austin Jackson on the injured reserve, the Aaron Brewer center is also faced with a hip injury.
Brewer was one of the eight players who participated in a limited capacity in Tuesday training. The others were Chop Robinson (knee), Jaylen Waddle (shoulder), Darren Waller (Hip), Malik Washington (Pouce), Jaylen Wright (knee), Ethan Bonner (Ischio-Jumbers) and Benito Jones (oblique).
The Kornerback Storm Duck (ankle) and the defensive back Ifeatu Melifonwu (calf) have not practiced this week. According to Miami coach Mike McDaniel, Melifonwu is unlikely to play on Thursday because it’s a short week.
Jaylen Waddle’s injury update
Jaylen Waddle has struggled against a shoulder problem since the Dolphins match with the Indianapolis colts during the week 1. Although he played on Sunday against the Patriots, he was only limited during Tuesday training.
It may have been more precaution, because Miami gives him time to heal completely and avoid aggravating his shoulder. It is unlikely to miss the week 3 match.
Waddle has recorded nine catches for 98 yards and a touchdown in two games this season.
Benito Jones injury update
Benito Jones did not play against the Patriots in week 2 due to an oblique injury he suffered during the opening match. The injury has since been tried week a week, so it is not surprising that he recorded participation in limited training on Tuesday.
This is not an ideal situation for Jones because it is a short week for Miami. He could obtain authorization to play against the Bills, but it depends on the way he trains on Wednesday.
Darren Waller’s injury update
Trendy winger Veteran Darren Waller has not yet made his Dolphins’ debut due to a hip injury that held him away from the first two games.
Mike McDaniel informed journalists that Waller’s status is uncertain after his training limited on Tuesday, so he is not clear if he will play against invoices.
“We will see how the rest of the week takes place. They put their best foot forward,” said McDaniel about the status of Waller and Jaylen Wright.
He could take the time of Waller to recover completely, because he has not played for over a year and only recently left retirement. His condition will be closely monitored in the coming days.
