Former New York City FC midfielder Justin Haak signed with the LA Galaxy in free agency on Monday.
The 24-year-old Brooklyn native has one goal and four assists in 34 MLS appearances (all starts) in 2025.
Haak is under contract with the Galaxy until 2026 with an option until June 2027.

His growth from local academy signing to starting every game is a testament to his work ethic, technical ability and defensive instincts.
“We look forward to Justin’s contributions to the Galaxy as we continue to build a competitive team for the 2026 season.”
Haak made his MLS debut with NYCFC in 2019 and has two goals and four assists in 81 league appearances. His tenure with the club included the 2021 MLS Cup and the 2022 Campeones Cup.
