KT Rolster continues good start at World Championships

KT Rolster, Top Esports, CTBC Flying Oyster and Anybody’s Legend improved to 2-0 on Thursday’s Swiss stage at the $5 million League of Legends 2025 World Championship in Beijing.
KT Rolster beat Secret Whales in 28 minutes in blue, Top Esports beat 100 Thieves in 26 minutes in blue, CTBC Flying Oyster beat T1 in 32 minutes in blue, and Anybody’s Legend beat Gen.G Esports in 32 minutes in red in the second round high-profile matches.
Teams need three wins in the five-round Swiss stage to reach the elimination stage, while teams with three losses will be eliminated. All matches are best-of-one, except for elimination and progression matches, which are best-of-three.
Eight teams will compete in the playoff stage, a single-elimination bracket starting October 28 where all matches will be played in a best-of-five format. The winner of the grand finale on November 9 will take home $1 million, including $800,000 for the runner-up.
In Thursday’s second round low matches, Flyquest beat Keyd Stars in 31 minutes in red, G2 Esports beat KOI in 28 minutes in red, Bilibili Gaming triumphed over Fnatic in 28 minutes in blue, and Hanwha Life beat PSG Talon in 28 minutes in blue.
