Krutrim Techie, 25, found dead in Bengaluru, the colleague of “extreme working pressure” in Reddit Post

A 25 -year -old automatic learning engineer working with the company of IA Krutrim was found dead in Lake Agara in Bengaluru. The technician would have died by suicide due to extreme work pressure and an abusive manager.
The technician’s body, identified as Nikhil Somwanshi, was found on May 8 and a first information report (FIR) was then filed to examine the issue. The incident gained ground on social networks after a user’s reddit post pretending to be the colleague of Somwanshi has become viral.
Commenting on the incident, the company spokesman told the PTI news agency: “We are deeply saddened by the tragic death of one of our most talented young employees, Nikhil (Somwanshi), May 8. Our thoughts and sincere sympathies are with his family, friends and loved ones during this incredibly difficult period.”
In this article, he described the company’s work environment as “traumatic”, especially for recruits. The Reddit user said Somwanshi led a project with 2 other people despite the recent graduate.
He said that since the departure of other guys, Nikhil has also managed their workload. The user then talked about the Manager of Somwanshi, who, in his words, “has no real idea of people management”.
“He simply attends calls, denigrate people on the left, right and at the center and has disappeared since he lives in the United States and most of the workforce is here in Bangalore. The words used during meetings, especially against recruits, is just traumatic,” said the post.
According to the company, Somwanshi was on personal leave at the time of the incident.
The company’s spokesman also said: “He had contacted his manager on April 8, expressing that he needed rest and was quickly granted personal holidays. Later, on April 17, he shared that he felt better but that he would benefit from additional rest and his leave was extended accordingly.”
“As a business, we have a heart broken by this loss. Nikhil was a member of the precious team, and his absence will be deeply felt by all those who knew and worked with him,” added the spokesperson.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Somwanshi has developed the Saathi chatbot for her master’s thesis, funded by Melinda Gates Foundation, in collaboration with IISC Bangalore, Oxford Brookes University, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Akaike Technologies. It simplifies access to more than 200 government regimes in four Indian states, supporting regional dialects and user requests.
