Kl Rahul should return to the T20i team of India for the Bangladesh tour after IPL 2025 heroic

Kl Rahul to return to the T20i team of India:

With KL RAHUL again showing its class in the shortest format of the game, the selectors would be ready to recall it on the T20i side. According to a Times of India report, the right -wing drummer will be in the running to play the T20i series against Bangladesh later this year.

India should visit the Bangladesh in August this year for three ODIs and as many T20is. Rahul has not played T20i for Team India for more than two years now. Although he remained a key member of the test and on the ODI side during this phase, the selectors did not give him a lifeline in T20is.

The last appearance of the T20i of Rahul for Team India came to the T20 2022 World Cup. Rahul has not played T20i since the defeat in the semi-finals against England at the Adelaide oval. Until now, Rahul has played 72 T20is for India and has scored 2265 points with the help of 2 centuries and 22 years fifties.

After the current IPL, he should play for Team India in the next series of tests against England. With people like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli retired, Rahul will be one of the most experienced players on the Indian team, and there will be on him to lead the bat.
