A few days before taking the bar exam, Kim Kardashian revealed that she has no plans to do it again if she fails.
During the Thursday, December 18 episode of The KardashiansKim, 45, was filmed studying just a week before taking the exam.
“I woke up and did a practice test for three hours. I did one yesterday for three hours. I’m absolutely going to cry because it’s exhausting,” she said, breaking down in tears. “I threw my back. It’s like every time I get to another stage, something pulls me back.”
Kim was moved by the “barriers” that prevented her from becoming a licensed attorney.
“I’m not one for pity parties. But last night I was like, ‘Why is this happening?’ I can barely walk. I can barely sit down. I don’t know why I have all these back problems,” she noted. They say: ‘Everyone, before passing the bar, has a nervous breakdown.’ I just knew it wasn’t me because I’m not that person. But I understand. It’s really a lot.
While reflecting on her journey to the bar, Kim opened up about the emotional toll, adding, “I had no idea it was going to turn out like this. I’m shocked myself that I’m breaking down honestly because I find myself so strong. I don’t know how I can get more information into my brain. It’s such a mindset.”
Kim admitted she had doubts about how long she could continue. “I really want it. But if I don’t succeed, I don’t think I’ll take it again. I won’t have time for a few years. Besides, I’m older and my brain capacity is different,” she explained. “I just don’t think I’m the best candidate. So to know that the six years of my life that I studied for came down to this one test – it’s the most terrifying feeling.”
In a preview for the season 7 finale, Kim broke down after taking the exam. “I slept like shit,” she said. “I just don’t have time anymore.”
Kim previously revealed that she didn’t pass the exam on the first try.
“Six years into this legal journey, and I’m still going all in until I pass the bar,” she wrote via Instagram in November. “No shortcuts, no giving up – just more study and even more determination. Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me along the way.”
She added, “Failing isn’t failure, it’s fuel. I was so close to passing the exam and this only motivates me more. Let’s go!!!!!!”
Kim also revealed her plans once she successfully obtains her license to practice law.
“I’ll graduate in two weeks. I hope to practice law,” she told the Graham Norton Show in the UK a month before. “Maybe in 10 years I think I’ll give up being Kim K. and become a trial lawyer. That’s what I really want.”
