“Remember when Barry called me fat?” Khloé asked Kourtney, 46, on the way to the gym. “It was years and years ago. We were running and I stopped and he said, ‘That’s why you’re fat.’ I said, “That’s why I’m here.” »
Khloé didn’t expect it Barry Jaywho got Barry’s Bootcamp off the ground, commenting on his body, adding: “I was bigger and we were working out. I remember taking a break because I couldn’t run and I remember thinking, ‘This is such a weird way to encourage people.'”
She continued: “It was a different time. It was 2006 with The Biggest Loser, diet pills and we were allowed to call people fat. We never spoke after that. That was literally the whole exchange.”
Kourtney shared the story with her friend Simon Huckwho then claimed that Barry was dead. After a confusing game of telephone, the trio clarified that Barry was still “alive and with us.”
“It was a huge mistake. I can’t believe I started a rumor,” Simon, 41, joked before Kourtney responded: “I hope he’s not offended.”
Khloe has often spoken about the challenges she faced when it came to body image. The reality star rose to fame after appearing on E! Keeping Up With the Kardashians from 2007 to 2021.
“When the show started, I was very safe, very secure,” Khloé explained during the 2021 Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion. “And then in the first two seasons, I became insecure because of my public opinion. Then I had, I think, a good period of security, and then I think recently, I’m not safe anymore. So I guess it’s been, you know, up and down. down.”
Khloé also opened up about her plastic surgery history.
“To me, everyone’s like, ‘Oh my God, she’s had her third face transplant,'” she added at the time. “But I had a nose job – Dr. Raj Kanodia – and everyone is so upset, like, ‘Why don’t I talk about it?'”
Khloé concluded, “No one has ever asked me that. You’re the first person in an interview to ask me about my nose. I’ve had, of course, injections – not really Botox. I responded horribly to Botox.”
Most recently, Khloé revealed that she would have tried Ozempic if it was available when she was losing weight.
“When I was older, if they had Ozempic, I probably would have tried it. Because I tried [every]something else,” Khloé told the cameras in a 2024 episode. “I’ve tried every trendy weight loss trend except the real thing that actually works. And it’s a lifestyle change.
Khloé then detailed her current approach to working out and eating healthy.
“I do circuit training with cardio intervals. I always get my heart rate up and down. For a shoot like this where I know I’m going to show a lot of skin, I definitely train a lot harder,” she explained. “And then I always celebrate with a big, full pizza. Just cheese. I’m a kids’ menu kind of girl. But life is about balance.”
Hulu releases new episodes of The Kardashians every Thursday.
