Kevin Federline has sparked new drama after revealing private messages from Jamie Lynn Spears that show just how deep the rift between her and Britney Spears was.
In his next memoir You thought you knewKevin shared messages Jamie Lynn allegedly sent to his wife Victoria Prince.
The conversations mainly focused on Britney’s sons, Sean Preston and Jayden, and what Jamie Lynn thought about the situation at the time.
According to We every week, Jamie Lynn wrote that she began to “resent” Britney for the way she treated her children because it seemed to be affecting them emotionally.
However, she also thanked Kevin and Victoria for helping raise the boys, saying they had every reason to walk away but chose not to.
A spokesperson for the music icon hit back, saying Kevin was “taking advantage of her again” now that his child support had ended and Britney’s only goal was her sons’ happiness.
Jamie Lynn’s messages also showed how much she wanted Britney to change for boys.
She told Victoria she always hoped her sister would get better and admitted she often struggled to understand Britney’s behavior.
Despite their rocky history, recent reports suggest the sisters are trying to reconnect after years of public tension.
