Keria carries T1 into KO stage semi-final at World Championship

T1 rallied from a 3-2 victory over Anybody’s Legend on Friday to advance to the semifinals of the playoff stage of the $5 million League of Legends 2025 World Championship in Beijing.

T1 started strong with a 36 minute win over red before Anybody’s Legend responded with a 32 minute win over blue and a 38 minute triumph over red. T1 held on, however, and recorded a 37-minute victory in blue and a 35-minute victory in red to eliminate Anybody’s Legend.

South Korea’s Min-seok “Keria” Ryu was the match MVP for T1, who will face Top Esports in the semifinals on Sunday.

The first semi-final on Saturday will pit KT Rolster against Gen.G Esports.

The 17-team tournament kicked off with the Swiss stage on October 14. The playoff stage is a single-elimination bracket in which all matches are best-of-five. The champion of the grand final on November 9 will win $1 million, including $800,000 for the runner-up.
