According to Famous Birthdays, Cymone celebrated her 27th birthday on Saturday, November 29. In posts captured by The Shade Room Teens, Cymone seemingly took to her Instagram Stories to commemorate her year around the sun by showing her face and sharing a few photos. In one post, she shared a photo of herself rocking a bikini, while another showed her donning a white dress and another showed her posing for a selfie in the front seat of a car.

Note that the publications were indeed rare, since Cymone’s Instagram account seems to have been inactive since the end of 2023. Concretely, the last publication shared on her account was a carousel, which she posted for her 25th birthday on November 29, 2023.

Kennedy Cymone’s now-deleted posts on her Instagram Story come amid her apparent months-long hiatus from social media. In addition to her seemingly inactive Instagram, the last post on Cymone’s X account, formerly known as Twitter, was shared in October 2024. Additionally, Cymone’s last YouTube video was posted in December 2024, while her Snapchat and TikTok accounts were last active in April.
Since then, social media users have speculated that Cymone’s absence was a result of the death of her mother, who died in April 2022. In May of that year, Cymone took to Instagram, calling it the “hardest time” of her life. Afterwards, she took breaks from her social media presence.
Despite her absence on social media, in December 2024, Kennedy Cymone’s name made headlines. This, through her ex-boyfriend, DDG, apparently naming her as his favorite ex.
