Arsenal in talks to sign 50 million pounds sterling “nightmare”

After another season of lack of silverware, Arsenal needs a massive summer.
Mikel Arteta did a brilliant job by taking the mediocrity team of the small table in 2019 to sustainable challengers today, but to make this last step, the board of directors must support it with serious signatures.
Fortunately, this seems to be what is happening, because the last weeks have seen the club linked to a certain number of international internationals, Rodrygo du Real Madrid may be the most exciting of all.
However, if we believe recent reports, Arteta could follow a different route with a player who could well be a more important perspective than the Brazilian.
Arsenal Transfer News
Before arriving at the star in question, it is worth looking at some of the other really exciting players to which Arsenal has been linked in recent weeks, like Morgan Rogers and Ebelechi Eze.
Transfer focus
Mega Money Deals, Controversial Moves and Big-Name Flops. This is the house of news and transfer opinions through Football Fancast.
The first could cost up to 100 million pounds sterling this summer, but with a count of 14 goals and 15 assists in 53 appearances of the midfielder and largely, it would be difficult to say that it is not a fair assessment.
Likewise, while 68 million pounds sterling cost a lot of money, Eze has proven that it is worth more than the investment, because in 42 games for Crystal Palace this season, he scored 14 goals, provided 11 assists and won the FA Cup.
However, for signature to be considered a “greater perspective” than Rodrygo, he should be a younger person and with immense potential, someone like Nico Williams.
According to a recent offside report, Arsenal has maintained its intense interest in the AS of Bilbao Ace.
The report revealed that Artata has now had personal interviews with the Spanish international, and although Chelsea is also eager to sign it, these talks seem to have made artillerymen the current advantages for its signature.
To conclude the agreement, the Northern Londoners will always have to activate the winger’s release clause, who currently amounts to around 50 million pounds sterling, but even then, it was worth signing a player who is undoubtedly a more important perspective than Roddrygo.
Why Williams is a greater perspective than Roddrygo
So the first thing to say is that Roddrygo is a simply sensational footballer, and if Arsenal signed him, then we are sure he would do a brilliant job for them.
However, given their tendency to focus on young players in the past, the Gunners could rather opt in Williams, and although it can upset certain fans, we will say that they are simply going with the greatest perspective of this scenario.
The first argument for this point of view is that the Bilbao Ace is two years the real junior of the star, and yet he has already established himself as a key man for one of the biggest clubs in Spain and the national team elsewhere.
In addition, although it was not as prolific as the Brazilian this term, it was almost unstoppable last season, which could be an indication of the way it would realize in a better team, like Arsenal.
For example, in just 37 appearances, totaling 2729 minutes, the “nightmare for defenders”, 22, as analyst Ben Mattinson described it, scored eight goals and provided 18 assists, who have reached the average of the objectives every 1.42 games, or every 104.96 minutes.
On the other hand, the original ACE of OSASSCO scored 18 goals and provided nine assists in 52 appearances, totaling 3,777 minutes, which reached the average of objectives every 1.92 games, or every 139.88 minutes.
In addition, and this may surprise some people when we compare their underlying numbers from the start of last season to today, it is the Spaniard who comes out in mind despite playing in a lower team and being younger.

In the end, the signing of one or the other of the players would make a huge difference for the Arsenal attack this season.
However, on the basis of their ages and their performances in the last two campaigns, it seems that Williams is the greatest perspective.
