Josko Gvardiol de Man City is preparing for a new season with “Real Commando Mission”

While most footballers pass the dead season to relax on a beach or sticking to light training, Josko Gvardiol had a very different idea: to become a full-fledged action hero.

Before the 2025/26 campaign, the defender of Manchester City embarked on a “real commando mission” at home in Croatia – gracity of Squad 9 commando, a company that transforms tactical video style war scenarios into immersive and real experiences.

Soted in full military style equipment, Gvardiol participated in a full range of simulated combat challenges.

Photos shared on his Instagram have shown that the Croatéd central rear stormed through the forests, based in the field, sailing on water missions and even laughing at an “enemy” – all with air aftershocks and professional supervision.

“The ultimate mental and physical preparation for the coming season!” Gvardiol legend his post. “@ Commandos_9 is the transformation of a tactical video game in reality – all air aftershocks, and with these pros, I felt 100% safe.”

“I always wanted to know what it is to be part of a team of special forces and to finish a real commando mission,” he added.
