Josh Duhamel kisses paternity every moment. The 52 -year -old actor says that life with his two sons, Axl, 12, and Shepherd, 19 months old, are filled with joy and surprises that make parenting his favorite role.
“There is always something new,” shared Duhamel PEOPLE.
“I love being a father. I love each step. ” He shares his youngest son, Shepherd, with his wife Audra Mari, while his elder, Axl, is his previous marriage to Fergie.
Duhamel explained that his boys already have very different interests.
“My wife’s father is a big car guy and a car collector, and I think Shepherd looks very much like his grandfather,” he said.
“He just likes cars, … and everything he wants to do is getting up in the seat and pretending to drive. Even if it is a small tricycle, he wants to enter it and pretend. ”
AXL, on the other hand, has its own passions.
“He doesn’t really care about cars,” admitted Duhamel. “It is more on football and basketball statistics. But it is the beauty of genetics. They all come out a little different.”
While the Out of the grid Star likes to be a father of two boys, he is also open to the expansion of his family.
Praise Mari, 31, to be “a great mother” and “a big model”, Duhamel said he would be delighted to welcome another child. “I hope we have another one. I hope that a girl, maybe another boy. We will see.”
For the moment, Duhamel savoring each stage of parenting, sports discussions with Axl to the fascination of Shepherd for cars, and says that paternity continues to be the most rewarding part of his life.
