The 5 -point round propels the past cardinals of the shelves

Alec Burleson rolled in two points in the second round of five rounds in Saint-Louis, and the Cardinals opened their three-game series with a 7-4 victory against the rays of Tampa Bay host on Thursday evening.
Burleson, who went 2-in-5, put Saint-Louis 5-1 with the two points produced in the large setting, and the starter Sonny Gray (12-6) produced three points on six strokes while fueling six and walking one in five.
Willson Contreras was 2-in-5 with a solo circuit, and Lars Nootbaar went 2-in-3 with a double, a race, a product point and two walks. Nolan Gorman was 2-in-4 with a double.
Yandy Diaz de Tampa Bay (2 for 3) crushed a two-point circuit, and Chandler Simpson was 2-in-4 with a double, a walk and three points.
In an erratic departure of four rounds, Joe Boyle (1-3) granted six points (five deserved) on nine strokes while doing five years, walking three and hitting a striker.
After being hammered by New York Yankees for two games and never leading, the Rays hung up a race during the first round after the Simpson speed obtained it in third place with a withdrawal. Brandon Lowe’s check to check was then good for a product point.
However, the cardinals have set up a five -point in the second behind the choice of Nathan church field player, Nootbaar double, a Wild Pitch Boyle and the two -point Burleson single.
In the third, Diaz reduced the deficit by half by washing a circuit of two points on the right, its 21st, but Ivan Herrera was 6-3 with a simple in the fourth.
The local team came out of a basic jam and without unscathed wheelbase in the fifth, but a good defense in the sixth at home maintained a three -point game.
With two withdrawals and runners in the first and second, Tristan Gray pulled a simple on the central field, but the church threw Nick Strong, trying to move forward in the third before Everson Pereira touches marble.
This has worsened for the seventh rays while Contreras launched a circuit of 423 feet, its 18th, to do it 7-3.
The junior caminate field in the seventh provided the last race, and the lifter of St. Louis, Jojo Romero, closed it with two purposes aimlessly for its fourth judgment.
