Jeremy Renner reacts to allegations made by his film partner Yi Zhou

Jeremy Renner is speaking out publicly after filmmaker Yi Zhou accused him of inappropriate behavior, including sending her intimate photos and threatening to “call ICE” on her.

A rep for the 54-year-old actor said Page six“The allegations made are completely inaccurate and false.”

Zhou, 37, shared her claims on Instagram, saying Renner first contacted her in June and sent her “personal and intimate photographs of himself.”

She said he “convinced me of his sincerity, saying he had been single for a long time and open to a long-term relationship”, adding that she believed him.

According to Zhou, the two men worked together on the documentary Disney Chronicles and the animated film Stardust Future: Stars and Scars.

She said Renner then “entered into written agreements” with his production company before allegedly denying “any personal relationship or professional collaboration.”

She claimed that when she confronted him and asked him to behave respectfully, he responded by threatening to involve immigration authorities, calling the exchange “shocking and frightening.”

In a follow-up interview, Zhou shared a screenshot of what she says was a WhatsApp message from Renner that allegedly included a sexually explicit video.

Next to it, he would have written: “Oh, yes?, are you okay??? »

She added that she had “a collection of these pornographic photos and gifs that he sent,” and insisted: “I did not contact him; he chased me. »

Zhou also said the couple had a brief romance and told the outlet earlier this year that Renner had “found new love” with her.

She previously shared footage of the two spending time together in her hometown of Reno, Nevada.

Renner was married to Sonni Pacheco, with whom he shares a 12-year-old daughter, Ava. In 2019, Pacheco accused him of drug abuse and threatening behavior.

At the time, Renner denied his claims, calling them “absurd.”

As Zhou’s latest accusations unfold, Renner’s team remains steadfast in its rejection of these claims.
