Jennifer Lawrence reflects on her two-year break from Hollywood

Jennifer Lawrence has looked back on her two-year acting hiatus, describing how she felt during that time.

THE hunger games star, after his fourth Oscar nomination in 2015 for Joyfaced a continuous series of box office failures like Passengers, Mother!, Red Sparrow And Dark Phoenixreleased in 2019.

During his appearance at The Graham Norton Show to promote his latest film Die, my loveLawrence opened up about his time away from Hollywood.

“I took some time off,” Lawrence told Norton. “I worked my whole 20s, and then I was like…what’s going on here? What’s going on?”

When asked by the host if she was worried about not being able to return to Hollywood, the mother of two replied, “I was at peace with that possibility of that happening.”

She added: “[Hollywood] it’s a lot. I think I would have been [okay]but also I would have been really upset. I don’t know.”

This is not the first time she has spoken about her “peaceful” breakup.

Previously before the release of Don’t look forLawrence in an interview with Vanity Fair said her two-year leave of absence was much needed because she “wasn’t developing the quality that I should have had. I just think everyone was sick of me. I was sick of myself.”

Lawrence is now preparing for the release of Die, my lovean upcoming psychodrama with co-star Robert Pattinson and director Lynne Ramsay.

The film is scheduled to release on November 7.
