Jennifer Hudson’s son David follows in his mother’s singing footsteps

Jennifer Hudson’s son, David Daniel Otunga Jr., is following in his mother’s musical footsteps.
On Instagram on Sunday, November 16, the 44-year-old American singer and actress shared a series of photos and videos of her recording a song in the studio with her son.
“The best part of singing is singing with my son,” the proud mother wrote in the caption, reflecting on the wholesome moment. “He said mom, let’s record one of my favorite songs together. [purple heart emoji]”
The first clip shows the nine-time Grammy nominee briefly leading the 16-year-old through a vocal riff, after which her son sang into the mic. She smiled, admiring him.
The next slide shows the teenager listening to the track, nodding and smiling, satisfied with the recording.
The carousel also included a photo of her son alone inside the transparent booth, with his own reflection appearing in the glass of the photo.
The mother-son duo also shared some lighthearted and hilarious moments during the recording sessions. In a final glimpse into their day, The Voice coach shared a clip of her part of the duet where she missed a note, prompting both her and David to laugh.
She tried to continue, but her son’s playful comment only added to their laughter, forcing them to pause. “He said now, Mom, you can’t do all that! Lol, it’s fun.” [laughing emoji],” she wrote.
For the uninitiated, Hudson shares David with her ex-fiancé David Otunga Sr.
