Jenna Dewan uses fake tanner on her 12-year-old daughter for dance competition

Jenna Dewan shared lightheartedly about preparing her 12-year-old daughter, Everly Tatum, for an Irish dancing competition.
THE Intensify a former student, 44, joked via her Instagram Story on Saturday, October 25, that one of the key steps in getting Everly ready for her performance was to apply “instant tanner” at 7 a.m. That’s dedication!
The early morning prep apparently paid off as a later video on Dewan’s Instagram Story showed Everly effortlessly performing her formal routine.
Of course, the mother of three – who shares Everly with her ex-husband Channing Tatumand she shares son Callum, 5, and daughter Rhiannon, 1, with her fiancé Steve Kazée – can count on a wealth of experience to guide his young daughter’s foray into competitive dance.

Surprisingly, the actress previously said Us every week that Everly was initially not interested in dancing growing up, despite coming from two parents with strong performance backgrounds. (Tatum starred with Dewan in Intensify and also appeared in the Magic Mike movies.)
“We always had this joke that, coming from two dancing parents, she just had no interest,” she said. We in 2022. “Recently, she wanted to take up Irish dancing…on her own.”
Dewan explained that Everly’s interest in Irish dancing completely surprised both of her parents because it was so far from their styles.
“She was like, ‘Oh, my God, I want to do that,’” she said. Come dance with me the judge explained. “And now she’s going to Irish dancing lessons. She’s very serious about it. She loves it. We’re here to earn it…her way. It’s very Evie. She wants to do things her way. It’s so cool.”
At the time, Dewan suggested We that his son Callum could be the next member of the family to try dancing, as he has “a little swag [and] a little bounce” like his father. (Kazee has extensive experience in musical theater, including winning a Tony Award for his lead performance in Once.)
“[Callum] already has a bit of a thing for rhythm and music,” she teased. “So we’ll see. I’m very attached to not pushing [my interests] on my children because I want them to find what particularly interests them. But yes, they find it.
Dewan and Tatum met in 2006 after meeting on the set of Intensify and eventually married in 2009. Both have been reluctant to publicly discuss their 2018 separation and subsequent divorce, although Tatum, 45, has admitted to doing so. Variety by September, he had resolved all issues with his ex-wife in order to co-parent with Evie.
“Jenna and I are okay now, but it was a painful breakup to see that fall apart, especially being so young,” Tatum admitted. “We tried to hold on, we tried for a year and a half. … It’s in the past.”
Admitting the divorce was “tough” on the whole family, he added: “It’s really hard not having your daughter half the time. I wish I could have her all the time.”
Tatum has developed long-term relationships with Jessie J. first, then with Zoe Kravitz – both of which are now over – while Dewan announced her engagement to fiancé Kazee in February 2020. Kazee and Dewan then welcomed son Callum in March 2020 and daughter Rhiannon in June 2024.
“From the moment you arrived, you brought immense joy and love into our lives…your gentle grace, gentleness and beauty captivated our entire family,” the couple wrote in an announcement of Rhiannon’s birth in 2024. “Our hearts are overflowing with love and we are truly blessed by your presence. Welcome to our world, little girl.”
