Jays Top A like Max Scherzer obtains the first victory with Toronto

Alejandro Kirk and Nathan Lukes each driven in two points in a fifth round in six points and Max Scherzer won his first victory of the season while the Blue Jays of Toronto held a 7-6 victory against athletics on Friday evening in West Sacramento, California.

Kirk, Lukes, Bo Bichette, Will Wagner and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. each had two shots while Toronto won for the 11th time in his last 12 games to stay two games in front of New York Yankees in the American League East. Guerrero’s first safe hit was the 1000th of his career.

Scherzer (1-0) took a laundering in the sixth round before serving a two-point circuit at Nick Kurtz and a solo shot to Tyler Soderstrom. He granted three points, five strokes and a walk and withdrew a record of eight of the season at his fifth start of the season.

Max Muncy also dominated athletics, his exit from Jeff Hoffman with a ninth round outing. Zack Gelof followed with a walk and Denzel Clarke chose. Gelof then scored on a wild land of two out to shoot the A in the 7-5 before Brent Rooker recorded a simple RBI.

Hoffman then attracted Kurtz to end the competition.

Kurtz, Muncy, Rooker and Soderstrom each had two strokes for athletics, which fell to 0-5 against the Blue Jays this season.

Luis Severino (2-11) granted five points – but only one won – and seven strokes in 4 2/3 rounds. He withdrew eight and walked two years by going to 0-9 in 12 home departures.

A Jacob Wilson’s All-Star Copstrame (left contusion) missed its third consecutive match.

The Blue Jays made a race in the fourth round and another when they update the fifth round.

Bichette doubled to start the fourth and Kirk attracted a walk to a walk before Severino strikes Wagner with land to load the basics. Ernie Clement followed with a sacrificial fly to do so 1-0.

In the fifth, Toronto sent 11 strikers to the plate.

George Springer has reached an error in launching a release of GELOF and Guerrero delivered a single for the time.

With two outings, the Blue Jays asked for a double flight. Shea Longueliers threw the second and COURT MUNCY stopped the ball in front of the bag and threw at home. Muncy did a blow and langeliers could not have held him while Springer scored.

Addison Barger followed with a simple then stole second. Kirk then sent a single two points to the center to do so 4-0.

Jack Perkins replaced Severino and struck Wagner with land and walked Clement to load the basics. Myles Straw then chose right to knock on Kirk.

Lukes followed with a hard group who took a bad jump and slammed in the right shoulder of Kurtz at the start. Wagner and Clement scored to do it 7-0.
