UPDATE — 01/9/26, 5:58 p.m. ET: Jaxson Dart And Marissa Ayers are Instagram official, thanks to a carousel that Ayers posted to her account on Friday, January 9, showing the couple in a series of PDA-filled moments.
The photos ranged from the soccer field to the house and into the snow, with the two men sharing a kiss or posing together in most of them.
“Rumor says… @jaxsondart,” Ayers captioned the post, a nod to long-running rumors that the two are an item.
Original story:
If there was any doubt about the New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart‘s love life previously, he seems to have erased with a post via Snapchat.
Dart, 22, allegedly posted a photo via Snapchat of himself kissing the model Marissa Ayers” plays as the two shared a hug before the Giants take on the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, December 28.
The photo eventually disappeared on Snapchat, but not before Deuxmoi captured it and shared it via Instagram.
That same day, Ayers, 22, shared a photo of flowers she received, addressed to “my Peachy.”
The messages from both men followed weeks of speculation about the Giants’ quarterback and ring girl. Jake Paul against. Antoine Joshua Netflix Fight. On Dec. 15, Ayers shared a video of herself via TikTok wearing a blue Giants t-shirt, and social media sleuths quickly determined that she appeared to be in Dart’s apartment.
Two weeks prior, Ayers was spotted on the field during the Giants’ Monday Night Football game against the New England Patriots alongside Dart’s mother, Kara.
Dart and Ayers were first linked just weeks after Dart caused a minor stir on social media following rumors that he was dating a pop star. Madison Beer. This stems from Dart revealing in a red carpet interview in September that Beer, 26, was her celebrity crush. Beer, for his part, is currently dating the Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
The Giants selected Dart with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft out of the University of Mississippi. After starting the season as a backup to veteran quarterback Russell Wilson, Dart took over the starting role in Week 4.
Dart’s emergence has been a bright spot in a tough year for the Giants, who are 3-13 with one game remaining. Even though his play on the field has shown promise and there no longer seem to be any questions surrounding his love life, Dart’s family continues to ruffle feathers. His father, Brandon Dart, got into a spat with CBS Sports’ Danny Kanell, leading Kanell, 52, to lash out at him on his “VT Sports” podcast.
After Kanell said he hadn’t seen enough evidence to conclude Jaxson was the team’s quarterback of the future, Brandon told him to “eat a big one” via X.
“I don’t know why you’re meddling in your son’s business,” Kanell said during the Monday, December 29, episode. “He’s already been online, calling out officials, calling out other analysts and it’s bringing more attention to you than to your son and it’s negative attention by attracting anyone in the media. I’m nobody in the media. Why are you attacking me? I support your son, but I’m bringing this to you. It’s going to be a lot of people – I don’t mind. I don’t care. I understand. But as a father, it stinks of helicopter father, who was involved and it’s been pretty well documented how involved he was in his son’s life.
Kanell continued, “Just let him be him. You don’t have to come to your son’s rescue. You don’t have to defend him. Let his play do the talking and you’ll be fine. You can keep the receipts. You can keep everything. But that, to me, does a disservice to Jaxson Dart because you’re just putting a target on his back for criticism. I’m pretty used to being called that, but a lot of guys would start rooting against Jaxson Dart for them to be right.
