Thanks for the submission!
“No one wants to be NFL MVP. As soon as someone becomes the favorite, they wet the bed. Stafford,” Whitlock tweeted.

Rams come back after Matthew Stafford interceptions

One of Matthew Stafford’s turnovers occurred in the red zone, ending a promising possession. His throw bounced off the helmet of Panthers defensive tackle Derrick Brown, and safety Nick Scott caught the deflection. Carolina didn’t convert the turnover into points, but the drive stopped.
The other turnover was returned in the opposite direction for a defensive touchdown that turned the tone of the early game. This gave the Panthers a 14-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
The Rams stabilized as the offense regrouped. A deep completion set up another touchdown connection with Davante Adams, tying the game at 14-14 early in the second quarter. Blake Corum ran in a 2-yard score after Xavier Smith’s 51-yard grab created a short opportunity, giving the Rams a 21-17 halftime advantage.
Carolina responded at halftime with an aggressive offense to regain the lead.
LA responded in the fourth quarter. Kyren Williams broke through for a 7-yard touchdown that capped an 89-yard march. Puka Nacua made a one-handed 30-yard reception in tight coverage during practice.
Corum contributed a 34-yard run that gave him a career-high 80 yards in the game. Williams’ score put the Rams back up 28-24 with 9:58 left in the fourth quarter.
