Jared Triolo produced two doubles and two points produced and the two strokes of Tommy Pham included a double of two points while the Pittsburgh Pirates hosts won a 9-7 victory against the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday evening.
The Pirates (62-77) won their 40th home victory this season and gave the Dodgers (78-60) their third defeat in the last four games. Pittsburgh won for the third time in four games and won nine victories in the last 12 games.
Shohei Ohtani led the Dodgers with three strokes, including his 46th circuit stroke, a third-round solo shot the recruit of the pirates Bubba Chandler (2-0).
The double RBI of Ohtani homeless in the ninth of Pittsburgh, closer, Dennis Santana gave Los Angeles a chance.
