Tropical Storm Priscilla forms in the Pacific. The cards show its way.

The tropical storm Priscilla formed on Saturday off the west coast of Mexico, where it was to bring a dangerous surfing and possible floods, said National Hurricane Center.
Priscilla was strengthened on Sunday morning when he moved to the Pacific waters on a path which should be parallel to the earth, with tropical storm watches in force for a large expanse of the Mexican coast of the southwest state of Jalisco to the Baja California peninsula.
The forecasters emit surveillance of the tropical storm for a particular area when tropical storm conditions are possible in this area, generally within 48 hours of the emission of the watch, depending on the center of hurricanes.
On its forecasting track, the center of Priscilla was to remain off the southwest coast of Mexico and travel in parallel to the field until the start of the week, the center said.

The forecasters declared in an opinion early Sunday that Priscilla would probably become a hurricane by the end of the day and could continue to strengthen for another day after that.
Around 7 am, the storm was located about 295 miles in the south-south-west of Cabo Corrientes, near the seaside resort Puerto Vallarta, and around 495 miles in the south-south-east of the southern tip of Baja California, according to The Advisory. It was deployed towards the north-northwest to 5 MPH with maximum winds sustained from 65 MPH-about 10 mph below the minimum threshold for a storm to be considered as a hurricane.
Although Priscilla should not directly touch the land, the Hurricane center said that tropical storm conditions, including powerful winds, were possible in areas under tropical surveillance on Sunday and Monday.

Strong rains and, perhaps, sudden floods, were also expected in parts of the Southwest Mexico on Monday.
“In the coastal parts of Michoacán and Guerrero, from the far west, quantities of 4 to 6 inch precipitation are expected, with local quantities of 8 inch,” said the Hurricane center in its opinion. “Through Colima, western Jalisco and the rest of Guerrero along the coast, 2 to 4 inches of rain are expected. This precipitation will cause a sudden risk of flooding, especially in higher field zones.”

Priscilla could also generate potentially potentially deadly surfing conditions and tear coastal areas in southwest Mexico and the Baja peninsula in California, the Hurricane Center said. Some regions were already starting to feel these effects on Sunday, but the forecasters warned that they could be more widespread on Monday.
