Israel stops 50 through the occupied West Bank; Jenin was moved back briefly | News Israel-Palestine Conflict

Multiple Israeli raids took place in Nablus, Qalqilya, Tubas, Hebron, Jenin, Bethlehem and Ramallah.
More than 50 Palestinians were arrested during Israeli military raids through the occupied West Bank, said the Palestinian prisoners’ media office (ASRA), while the mortal assault of the army against the territory, in tandem with his punishing war against Gaza, degenerates.
The multiple raids took place Thursday in Nablus, Qalqilya, Tubas, Hebron, Jenin, Bethlehem and Ramallah.
ASRA said the children, the militants and the former prisoners who had been released were among the arrested. He added that raids had taken place in houses and educational establishments.
The Israeli army also carried out demolitions of houses at cheeky speed, without taking into account the international conviction.
After months of implacable Israeli attacks against Jenin’s refugee camp, some Palestinian women were authorized to return briefly, but only to quickly pack the few goods they could, then were forced to leave.
After asking for permission from the Israeli army, they had 40 minutes to pack a life of memories in the Al-Hawashin district of Jenin.
Nisreen Abu Zeina, a moved woman from Jenin, said they only wanted to check the camp and their houses.
“We pray that one day we will come back,” she told Al Jazeera. “We were searched over and over again, but we finally managed to go to us who are still standing. We have traveled a long distance on destroyed roads, the stench was unbearable. They continued to rush to us. ”
Meanwhile, a Palestinian was killed after an Israeli soldier was injured during a stab wound attack in the village of Rummanah, west of Jenin.
Hamas has published a statement, identifying the suspect killed as Ahmad Ali Amur, 55. “While we mourn the attacker of the attack … We affirm that this attack sends a message according to which all the attempts of the occupation to extinguish the flames of the resistance in the West Bank will fail,” the statement said.
Since the attack led by Hamas against southern Israel on October 7, 2023, Israel has accelerated its violence in occupied West Bank, killing at least 1,000 Palestinians.
While the world was distracted by the genocidal war of Israel against Gaza – who killed at least 57,575 people, injured 136,879 others and uprooted almost the entire population of approximately 2 million, according to the Gaza Ministry of Health – Israel accelerated its violent raids on the villages of the West Bank.
The colonists attack with impunity
The Israeli colonists, illegally living on Palestinian lands, have also become more embraced by daily raids – sudden and violent raids in cities, burning goods, attacking people and trying to drive them out of their homes.
The Israeli army protects them and the campaign of violence and intimidation of the colonists is carried out with impunity.
Many Israeli settlers have also received semi-automatic and “integrated” weapons, in fact, in the Israeli forces in the West Bank, in order to compensate for all the staff deployed to carry out the war in Gaza.
This scrambled the boundaries between the Israeli security forces and the colonists, which allowed the latter more to degenerate violence against the Palestinians.
To underline this dynamic, Israeli forces helped transport mobile housing to empty field in the region of Tel Rumeida in Hebron, in the south of the West Bank occupied on Wednesday.
The trucks carrying the accommodation was accompanied by Israeli military vehicles.
Issa Amro, coordinator of the Youth Against Settlements group, told Al Jazeera that the mobile housing units had been placed in designated territory H1 – referring to the Hebron section which is under the civil and security control of the Palestinian Authority.
He said it was the first time that it happened in Hebron, adding that it was a dangerous development.
