While the threat of Iranian reprisals is looming, the potential of terrorist proxies to take advantage of the new age methods remains in mind for experts pointing towards anti-Semitic campus demonstrations and social media propaganda as possible methods of creating chaos in the United States.
After strikes on the main nuclear sites of Iran by American forces on Saturday, the Ministry of Internal Security (DHS) published a National Bulletin of the Consultative System of Terrorism warning of the increased risk of domestic terrorism of attackers supported by Iran or domestic attackers.
“The probability that violent extremists in the fatherland are independently mobilized to violence in response to the conflict would probably increase if Iranian leaders published a religious decision calling for violence against the targets in the fatherland,” said the bulletin.

Dormant cells are groups planted in a country by a foreign government to live and work among citizens with the ultimate goal of carrying out a terrorist attack or an act of violence with political motivation.
Due to the funding and exhausted resources, terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah and Hamas were forced to “sit on it” when it comes to helping Iran in its attacks, considerably exhausting the regime’s strength when it was looking to reproprish the United States and Israel, according to Barak Seeder, a senior market from the Henry Jackson Society.

Like Seader, Mauro stressed the possibility that the Iranian diet uses social media and online platforms to radicalize Americans in order to build local terrorists from zero.
