While the threat of Iranian reprisals is looming, the potential of terrorist proxies to take advantage of the new age methods remains in mind for experts pointing towards anti-Semitic campus demonstrations and social media propaganda as possible methods of creating chaos in the United States.

After strikes on the main nuclear sites of Iran by American forces on Saturday, the Ministry of Internal Security (DHS) published a National Bulletin of the Consultative System of Terrorism warning of the increased risk of domestic terrorism of attackers supported by Iran or domestic attackers.

“The probability that violent extremists in the fatherland are independently mobilized to violence in response to the conflict would probably increase if Iranian leaders published a religious decision calling for violence against the targets in the fatherland,” said the bulletin.

Dormant cells are groups planted in a country by a foreign government to live and work among citizens with the ultimate goal of carrying out a terrorist attack or an act of violence with political motivation.

Due to the funding and exhausted resources, terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah and Hamas were forced to “sit on it” when it comes to helping Iran in its attacks, considerably exhausting the regime’s strength when it was looking to reproprish the United States and Israel, according to Barak Seeder, a senior market from the Henry Jackson Society.

“Iran’s ability to react militarily is increasingly minimized,” Fox News told Fox News. “We must remember that Iran’s terrorist proxies have been seriously degraded.”

In response to the loss of Iran’s usual terrorist terrorist proxies, Sealer underlines the government using dormant cells to carry out its program on the soil of its opponents.

“Iran will seek to be flexed by activating sleeping cells in the United States, Great Britain, Europe or even Asia,” said Seader. “”[It’s] Regarding monitoring of surveillance, then targeting community centers or political leaders. So Iran is not new in this game. ”

The American security threat has American officials on high alert, and the DHS and the FBI accelerate security measures throughout the country. Since the bombing of Iranian nuclear sites during the weekend, American immigration and the application of customs (ICE) have illegally stopped 11 Iranian nationals in the country, including an alleged sniper in the Iranian army, according to the DHS.

Iran can try reprisals of “facial reduction” against us for strikes, says the expert

“It is our duty to keep the nation in safety and informed, in particular during a conflict,” said Kristi Noem, secretary of the DHS, in a press release at Fox News Digital. “The current Israel-Iran conflict brings the possibility of an increased threat to the fatherland in the form of possible cyber attacks, acts of violence and anti-Semitic hatred crimes.”

The FBI refused the request for comments from Fox News Digital.

“A number of Lebanese, Iranian and South American agents with Iranian relations have crossed borders,” said Seader, referring to previous open border policies of the Biden administration. “”[There’s] Just no way to follow. “”

However, Seader has also raised the possibility that Iranian agents will list anti-Israeli demonstrations in the United States while using cyber war to launch disinformation campaigns on social networks.

“A large part of the opposition to American foreign policy towards Israel and Gaza was people who came to [country] On student visas, “said Seader.” They are not American nationals. And yet, they are able to create a disturbance and contribute to a huge disturbance. “”

In response to anti-Israeli demonstrations underway on university campuses, President Donald Trump ordered his administration to revoke hundreds of student visas belonging to known activists.

However, the risk of Iranian sleeping cells pale compared to the possibility of an individual radicalized by the regime choosing to carry out an attack on American soil, according to Paul Mauro, a retired executive officer of the NYPD at the Office of Intelligence and Analysis Operations.

“If [Iran] sought to insert an asset in America, why don’t go through a porous southern border, “Mauro told Fox News Digital.” Insert foreign agents here and integrate them into these campus demonstrations. “”

Campus demonstrations offer the Iranian government an attractive target to integrate, with the main aim of creating disturbances and dissidents on American soil, according to Mauro.

“They can be recipient of funds,” said Mauro. “They can contextualize what is going on for you. They can tell you who are the big players, how disturbance could take place. And that simply undermines our blood and our treasure here on the inner front and creates chaos.”

Like Seader, Mauro stressed the possibility that the Iranian diet uses social media and online platforms to radicalize Americans in order to build local terrorists from zero.

“It is a real low -slow and easy -to -manage operation,” said Mauro. “You get someone who leads a slippery life [who] Does not have much identity, someone looking for a character, and you give one. It is subtle and it is a process of seduction. “”

Although the use of propaganda and targeted social media is historically aligned with the Islamic State, Mauro stressed that the evolution of digital times affecting the way the attacks can be carried out.

“Traditionally, it’s not the Iranian Mo,” said Mauro. “It’s not Hezbollah Mo. But we are in a new world.”

However, the possibility for terrorist groups to meet with new strategies to use against a common enemy remains in mind.

“Right now, my enemy’s enemy is my friend,” said Mauro. “You could have the kind of elements that before, people in the remains of Al-Qaeda, Isis, Syria, Iraq [be] Right now, America will be a gentle target because you have all these disorders among progressives. “”

Although the Bulletin published by DHS does not quote any specific threat to the American people, local, state and federal law agencies across the country are very alert because they encourage people to remain vigilant with tensions between the United States and Iran which continue to increase.

“There is no rules of commitment to a rogue regime like Iran,” said Sealer. “Everything is an equitable game. Western democracies do not work in this way, and it is foreign to us, but that’s how Iran works.”
