The bills head coach is “concerned” by loss of the eruption against the Bears

The Buffalo Bills, which started almost all backups yesterday, were excluded by the Bears in Chicago by a final score of 38-0, which had the Buffalo head coach, Sean McDermott, express.

“Certainly not up to our level, which we expect,” he told journalists after the match. “I have a lot of work to do, it’s very clear. No matter who is there – those, two, three, four – whatever, we expect them to work, and we expect our level of performance to be much better than that.”

Invoices have experienced failures in all areas. They did not convert a single third or fourth attempt later when they committed ten penalties for 96 yards. In addition, the offensive was held at 180 yards, while the defense returned 528 yards to a team from the Bears who had many starters, including the quarter Caleb Williams.

“We did not win the melee line,” said McDermott. “Basically, we were not good enough. Too many penalties. We go out and – play against their – we expect to compete with them, and this was not the case early. Then, our two who were there in competition against their two, and our three things against their shots, we have not improved and that we look at it, and we evaluate as well as we have done just as well. Go forward here. “”

McDermott said the team had a good week’s training camp leading to the competition, in particular with joint practice against the Bears. However, these efforts were not reflected in yesterday’s match.

“So, I thought we had enlisted, we had a certain momentum that left this practice, which I thought was a good practice for us,” he said. “Tonight, however, not even close … I had the impression that we had evolved in the right direction, in holistically, leaving this practice … Tonight was an opportunity for us to also assess some of the other players on our list, and, in doing so, let’s also hope to keep some of our runners healthy. So, I can’t wait to see guys with the opportunity this evening, and I don’t feel it as much as I hoped.”

McDermott added that he was worried about “many things” after loss of eruption.

“I am concerned about many things that take place this evening, really,” he said. “We have to watch the film and really see who we have, who can help us, what we can need, then also things that we can simply do better in terms of execution, fundamentally, these things. There are a lot to clean. ”

McDermott also underlined the gaps in the defensive line as one of the main causes of unbalanced loss.

“It starts in advance, like all the fact,” he said. “You want to win a match, you have to win the trenches. And, we had trouble stopping the race. We had trouble stopping the pass. These two work together, the rush and the blanket, as you heard me say again and again.”

All that McDermott and the Bills can do is watch the band and see who stood out in last night’s match.

“We are trying to see who can play with the Varsity, if you want, and who can help us,” he concluded. “So that is part of the evaluation tonight.”

The last pre-season bills match is scheduled for Saturday, August 23. The kick-off in it is scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Hae.
