Apple’s latest budget phone, the iPhone 16th finally released, three years after the launch of the third generation iPhone SE. It is relatively long for mobile developments to evolve – and for the price of stickers to increase in parallel with these improvements.
The iPhone SE 2022 had a starting price of $ 429, and the iPhone 16th starts at $ 599 significantly higher. Apple has deleted the older and cheaper iPhone of its store, so you will have to buy it used or go to a third -party seller to get your hands on one. So what improvements will you find on the iPhone 16th, and how does it compare with its predecessor? Here is everything you need to know.

While the iPhone SE 2022 had a 4.7 -inch LCD screen, the iPhone 16th rose things with an OLED 6.1 inch screen (always with a 60 Hz refreshment rate, however; sorry). With the 16th, you will still not have features found on Apple’s more expensive flagship phones like Dynamic Island or a camera control button, but you will get an action button.
The biggest design change may be that with a complete front screen, Apple has canceled the Home button on the iPhone 16th, opting rather for Face ID to match the rest of its current phones. The 16th was also upgraded to a USB-C port, spelling the end of lightning. None of the two phones has a headphone jack.
The iPhone SE and the iPhone 16th have aluminum frames, with the largest size of the 16th giving it a little more weight: 167 grams, against 144g of the SE. The iPhone has an IP67 note for water resistance, while the 16th increases to an IP68 note.

Camera comparison
The iPhone SE and the iPhone 16th each have a rear camera: a 12 -megapixel camera on the SE and a width of 48 megapixels on the 16th. The 16th also improves the 7 megapixel front camera with 12 megapixels.
The two phones run a 4K video at 60 frames per second.
Battery and load
Apple has praised an improved battery on the iPhone 16th, which, according to the company, can support up to 26 hours of video playback, against 15 hours on the iPhone SE. This longer battery life is largely due to the very first Apple 5G modem, called C1. The company calls it the “most economical modem in power of all time in an iPhone”.
The two phones support the cable load of 20 watts and the wireless load of 7.5 watts.
Processor, intelligence and Apple storage
The iPhone 2022 operates on the Bionic A15 chip, while the iPhone 16th is powered by the A18 chip – just like $ 799 $ 799. It also supports SOS connectivity and emergency satellite, so that you can send a message to emergency services and your loved ones, even when you do not have a cellular connection.
While the iPhone is delivered with 64 GB, 128 GB or 256 GB of storage, the iPhone 16th offers a larger 512 GB storage option, as well as 128 GB and 256 GB options. None of the two phones has extensible storage.
