Since the IPL 2025 season, LSG has made several support staff changes.

Former India cricket team physiotherapist Patrick Farhart has joined the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as their Global Head of Science & Medicine.

LSG’s physio change

Farhart worked with Team India from 2015 to 2019, until the 2019 ODI World Cup in England. The Australian has ample experience working in the Indian Premier League (IPL). For the last 6 years, Farhart has been working with the Delhi Capitals. He’s also been associated with the Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians.

“Patrick Farhart will join LSG and its sister franchises as their Global Head of Science and Medicine from today. His work will start from the upcoming SA20 season for the Durban franchise,” an LSG official told IANS.

He will be working for LSG across leagues. Apart from the IPL, he’ll be with Manchester Originals in The Hundred, Durban Super Giants in SA20, and even Mohun Bagan SG in the Indian Super League. Farhart will start his stint in Durban, with the 2026 edition of the SA20 commencing on December 26.

“I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Global Head of Medicine and Science at RPSG Sports Private Limited,” Farhart posted on LinkedIn.

Farhart will be working with Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan, and Naman Tiwari. The three domestic Indian fast bowlers will join the Durban Super Giants in SA20 for a training stint. Farhart will also get the opportunity to work with LSG’s Global Director of Cricket Tom Moody, head coach Bharat Arun, and spin bowling coach Carl Crowe.
