The co -owner of Delhi Capitals (DC), Parth Jindal, had an emotional reaction at the end of his team of the 2025 IPL eliminatory race after the match against the Indians of Mumbai (Mi). DC faced Mi at the Mumbai Wankhede stadium on Wednesday, May 21.

Delhi won five victories from their first seven games, and it seemed to be ready to make the playoffs. However, the second half was absolutely mediocre for the team, turning things up completely upside down as their campaign went south.
The defeat against the Indians of Mumbai is their fourth consecutive defeat this season. With six wins and as many 13 -game defeats, they are now placed fifth with 13 points and out of discord to make the playoffs.
They play their last match of the season against the Kings of Punjab (PBKS) on Saturday May 24 and will wish to finish at the top.
