According to The Blast, District Attorney Nathan Hochman revealed that the charges include an allegation of multiple murders under special circumstances, which can significantly increase the severity of any sentence if Nick is convicted.

Prosecutors also added a specific allegation that he personally used a dangerous and deadly weapon, namely a knife, in the murders.

Hochman explained that the charges carry a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole or the death penalty, although a decision has not yet been made on whether prosecutors will seek the death penalty in the case.

The Blast reported that Rob and Michele were found with their throats slit in their Brentwood home.

Sources close to the investigation revealed that the couple’s bodies were discovered in their bed at their Los Angeles home, which officials and insiders say suggests the attack may have occurred while they were sleeping.

According to the report, the alleged timeline would place the murders sometime after the couple returned from a holiday party the previous night.

“He could have done it shortly after they all returned home,” a close source noted.

When their daughter Romy was reunited with her parents on Sunday afternoon, there were already signs of rigor mortis, a stiffening that sets in within hours of death, suggesting they had been dead for some time before their discovery.
