During a session for the youtube channel in Pernia fashion, Sabyasachi was questioned about the most fun marriage in Bollywood. The designer replied: “You know who was fun with? It was actually Rani Mukerji. She never took the photos out. But, the fact was that it was a crazy wedding that was made between her, Aditya Chopra), Karan (Johar) and me. She was very relaxed.”
Sabyasachi also shared how long the wedding was of the last minute, revealing that he had only one week to create the Lehenga Nuptial. He said, “She came to lunch one day and said that she got married. I asked her how much time I had and she said a week. I had to assemble something in such a time. It’s fun when people appreciate their marriage. It makes the design process for them so much more fun.”
After years of speculation and spotted together, Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra made the knot on April 21, 2014, during an intimate ceremony in Italy. The couple have a daughter, Adira, born in 2015.
In a recent interview with film Companion, Rani Mukerji gave a rare overview of her relationship with Aditya Chopra. She has shone that they always like to watch movies together, saying: “For me, the best time that Aditya Chopra) and I have, it’s when we are going to watch a film together.
