Housefull 5: The Souza Remo choreographer faces allegations of dance plagiarism of the content of content on the song ‘Laal Pari’: Bollywood News
The dancer, choreographer and the digital content creator Sandip Brahamin publicly accused Housefull 5 Choreographer Remo of Souza to copy one of her signature dance movements for the song of the film ‘Laal Pari’without giving it credit. The allegation was made via an Instagram video that Sandip recently shared, reviving the debate on creative plagiarism in the entertainment industry.

About a month ago, after the unveiling of the song, Sandip called the choreographer for copying his original steps without award. In the video, he specifically discussed the resemblance of movements ‘Laal Pari’ to a sequence from one of his old dance clips. He said in the video: “You have all seen my signature movements. My move was copied in Housefull 5 Song Laal Pari. Many of my friends put me on Instagram. Consequently, I returned to Instagram and Youtube. They did not mention me or gave me credit. I don’t know what’s going on.
The video also included comparisons side by side showing the main actors Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and Riteish Deshmukh performing the disputed stage, followed by images of Sandip performing what he claims to be the original choreography. The similarity between the movements has led many online viewers to wonder if the creative team behind the film should have recognized Sandip’s work.
In the meantime, Housefull 5 created waves at the box office. Released on June 6 is the fifth film of success House house franchise. Direct by Tarun Mansukhani and Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan, the 2025 Hindi-Language Comedy Thriller Features A Massive Together Cast Intefluding Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa, and more. In particular, the film was released in two versions –Housefull 5A And Housefull 5B—Cur with a different culmination point.
While Remo d’ouza has not yet responded to allegations, the controversy adds to the buzz surrounding Laal Pariwhich has been tending since the release of the film. It remains to be seen whether the production team is addressed or not, but the publication of Sandip Brahamin triggered discussions on the importance of recognizing content creators in the consumer media.
