Bollywood’s most emblematic comedy franchise is back – and this time, she sails in cinemas with more madness than ever. Release on June 6, 2025, Housefull 5 is presented as a “killer comedy” – a sentence that sets the tone for exaggerated hilarity fans. Directed by To a friend Fame Tarun Mansukhani, this fifth outing takes the overall casting aboard a luxurious cruise, preparing the terrain for a whirlwind of chaos, comedy and carbus music.
The teaser presents an epic range of Bollywood stars, titled by the pillar of the Akshay Kumar franchise, alongside Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Sonam Bajwa and Nargis Fakhri. Veterans in the industry and the new faces of the industry are joined – notably Sanjay Dutt, Jackie Shroff, Nana Patekar, Chitrangada Singh, La Fardeen Khan, Chunky Pandey, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, Ranjeet, Soundarya Sharma, Nikitin Dheer and Akashdeep Sabir.
Housefull 5 Also creates history as the only Indian comedy franchise to reach its fifth episode – a rare feat in Bollywood. Known for its slapstick humor brand mixture, eccentric characters and extravagant parameters, each film in the series has managed to surpass the last in terms of ladder and star power. With this last chapter, the franchise increases the bar even higher.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under its Nadiadwala Grand-Entertainment banner, the film promises five times the laughter and non-stop family entertainment.
