Duff shared the rumored cover art for her upcoming single, “Mature,” on Monday, November 3, 2025. In the caption, she shared her excitement for the new song and gave as many details as possible.

“I’m so happy you can finally hear it,” she wrote. “I kept this one quiet for too long.”

She added: “My new single ‘Mature’ is coming out on November 6th,” she finished.

Duff’s loyal fans had a feeling something spectacular was on the horizon, considering the “Younger” star shared a countdown on her website on November 2.

“YASSS. So happy – loved inhaling, exhaling,” someone wrote on Reddit. “Acoustic Tattoo is always on my morning playlist.”

Another user shared: “POP EMERGENCY. Coming back tomorrow.”

“10 years in the making!! This seems so monumental as a long-time fan who at one point accepted his musical retirement. So it goes without saying that I’m definitely on the best possible journey about this new era,” a third commenter posted.

In addition to her countdown, Duff teased her return earlier this year with a photo of herself in the studio, sitting behind a microphone, according to The Blast. She captioned the post: “New music… or something.”

Further reports confirmed that the “Cadet Kelly” star had signed a new music deal with Atlantic Records, promising fans new recordings and a documentary series meant to capture her long-awaited return.

While there is no set air date for the Duff docuseries, when it releases, fans will see the star in the studio and in rehearsals preparing for her first live performance in over a decade.

The announcement of Duff’s single prompted even more fans to jump for joy in the comments section of her post, celebrating the singer’s resurgence.

Duff’s return couldn’t come at a more perfect time, considering she faced intense backlash in late October 2025 after posting a photo of herself crying over coffee spilled on her designer bag.

“Spilled all my coffee in my purse and on my front seat,” she wrote alongside a photo of the Balenciaga bag. “A whole milk latte. I didn’t even take a sip.”

Duff then shared another photo, admitting that she became overwhelmed with emotion and had to call her husband for help.

And while her husband probably gave her a shoulder to cry on, the public didn’t.
