Hilaria Baldwin was “sure” Alec Baldwin was dead after “Rust”

On October 21, 2021, the actor “30 rock” repeated a scene for the independent film of the West “Rust” to the New Mexico when a weapon he held was gone, fatally injuring the director of photography HALYNA HUTCHINS and director of hospitalization Joel Souza.

Although Baldwin was not tried before 2024 (he was rejected with prejudice after only three days), Hilaria explains in her new Memoirs, “Manual not included”, that her husband fought with physical and mental health problems in the weeks and years following the shooting.

Hilaria published her memoirs “Manual not included” on May 6. In the book, she discussed the benefits of the filming of “Rust” in 2021 and described how the alum “Saturday Night Live” “became a totally different man” after the fatal shooting.

On January 31, 2023, Baldwin was accused of two manslaughter, as well as the Hannah Gutierrez-Reed armor, who is currently an 18-month sentence following his conviction for manslaughter.

Although the accusations were temporarily abandoned in April 2023 pending a FBI investigation into the firearm used in the shooting, Hilaria noted that her husband’s health “quickly deteriorated” and remembered it in the emergency room.

In her book, she describes how “her hands have become cold” and “he could barely walk”. She said the doctors “had done many tests” but concluded that “it was more stress”. She noticed that Alec had stopped eating and drinking as much as it before and felt that “he died”.

Although the doctors returned it to the house after this trip to the emergency room, Hilaria revealed that the health of her husband took a worse turn a few days later. While taking their children to school, Hilaria received a call from their nanny by urging to go home immediately because the actor “Beetlejuice” was “really sick”.

“I rushed back and found him trembling, unable to get up. He still refused to see the doctor, making his best Alec-Curmudgeon to make me leave alone,” recalls Hilaria, revealing that Alec initially resisted to call an ambulance or go to the hospital.

After finally convinced that he had to see a doctor, Alec gave in and let him drive him to the hospital. However, when they arrived, Alec apparently had problems with his vision and “collapsed back, rolling eyes, open mouth”.

Hilaria described how their driver, Mikey, ran inside the hospital to get help. “I was sure that Alec was dead,” wrote Hilaria. “I thought I was going to vomit to feel so helpless and my heart broken. How could it happen?

The actor “Supercell” was immediately admitted to the hospital and stayed there for a week. When it was time for him to go home, Hilaria revealed that “he could not walk without the help of a walker” even if he needed to go to Montana in order to finish the shooting of “Rust”, which was quietly released in certain rooms earlier this month.

To prevent the distribution and crew from worrying about his illness, he wore an orthopedic boot to create the impression that he was slow and weak due to an injury.

In the second episode of their TLC reality series, “The Baldwins”, Hilaria opened on the “guilt of the survivor” for which the actor had trouble following the mortal shooting.

“I found these text messages the other day between us, you know, the next day,” Hilaria told the camera. “And [Alec] said he wanted to commit suicide. “”

In a confessional, she explained that Alec “survived guilt” due to the shooting. “You are involved in this thing that no one could even imagine. And so he returns to date, he wants him to be,” she recalls. “He would change places [with Halyna Hutchins] in a second.
