“He will come back at some point,”

Earlier this year, Max Homa decided to stay indefinitely outside X because he had not appreciated his time on the application. Speaking of Homa’s decision, Michael Kim said he was thinking that the winner six times from the PGA Tour was just a break and will soon be back on the application.
Over the years, Homa has become a popular social media personality in the golf world because of its broad audience on X. Inspired by Homa, Kim has also started to build its audience on the platform. Homa has more than 689,000 subscribers on X while Kim has more than 185,000 subscribers.
During a post-round interview with John Deere 2025 classic, an interviewer asked Michael Kim to share his reflections on Homa’s decision to stay away from X and said (via asap sports),
“I mean, he has a much more important audience than me, which means that he gets much more bad things than me. I have the feeling that he will come back at some point, but I think everyone needs a break in social media from time to time. I think it’s probably better for his mental health for him to take some time.”
Despite Michael Kim’s hope that the winner six times PGA Tour would return to the platform, it seems that Max Homa remains firm in his decision. One day before John Deere kick off, he called X a “horrible” place.
“It has become a safe refuge for people who are angry with themselves. It is quite absurd what people – how much people feel comfortable writing horrible things. Twitter or X is a horrible and horrible place. It took me a while to understand how it can have an impact and how much a waste of energy. “
Max Homa admitted that it failed to connect with the fans on the platform. However, he chooses to connect more with people in person for the moment.
Michael Kim says he is “satisfied” with his first round to the classic of John Deere 2025
Michael Kim won his first PGA Tour title at John Deere Classic in 2018. Now seven years later, he returned to try to win the tournament for the second time.
The 31-year-old golfer went without Bogey on the back of TPC Deere Run and pulled his first Bogey of the day on the ninth hole in 4. He pulled eight birdies through 18 holes and carded a 7-mine of 64 at the end of his round.
During his interview after the round, Michael Kim said via Asap Sports):
“I’m happy to have taken a very good start. I don’t know exactly what I filmed in 2018, but I hope I don’t need to draw 27 sous. But obviously, I am very happy and satisfied with the first round today.”
Michael Kim heads for the second round tie for fourth place. He is two blows behind Doug Ghim, who is in the lead with 9 sous.
