“Haytham Ali Tabtabai was wanted by the United States and Israel for years”

Israel killed the top military leader of the militant group Hezbollah in an airstrike in the southern suburbs of Beirut on Sunday, the Israeli military said, despite a U.S.-brokered truce a year ago. “Haytham Ali Tabtabai had been wanted for years by both the United States and Israel,” said Rawad Taha, FRANCE 24 correspondent in Beirut, Lebanon.
