Has Kl Rahul consoled a crying Karun Nair? Truth about viral video

The video had become viral after the abolition of Karun Nair for the Manchester test at Old Trafford.

Karun Nair had waited for more than 8 years to return to the Test team of India. When luck has finally happened, Nair did nothing justice. 0, 20, 31, 26, 40 and 14 – These are his scores in the first three games of the India VS England test series.

Shubman Gill and Gautam Gambir had given him opportunities, not just one but three times. They had even dropped Sai Sudharsan for the second and third games, but Nair failed to justify his selection on him.

Karun Nair Crying viral video

Nair started in all rounds except one. So, with the line on the line, it was abandoned for the Manchester test. Obviously, Nair was emptied. Who wouldn’t be? During the match, a video surfaced where the experienced striker was seen crying on the player’s balcony with his good friend Kl Rahul by his side. The video has become viral.

Was it false or real?

However, something seemed on this subject. The video showed the Lord’s balcony. However, the match was played at Old Trafford. This meant that the clip came from the third test instead of the fourth. So it was not a Manchester test. But it could have been real. In an exclusive conversation with Interior sportNair revealed what really happened.

“I think it was a video generated by AI (artificial intelligence). It is not at all the real video. Yes, we were sitting on the balcony, but all that was shown in this video was not real,” Nair said Interior sport.

The 33 -year -old also shared that having two Karnataka teammates, Rahul and Prasidh Krishna, was really useful. He has been playing with Rahul for 12 years, while Prasidh came a photo a little later. During certain difficult times, especially dropping and low scores, Nair relied on them to get support.

“It was good to have Prasidh and Kl with me. We have really had a lot of fun in the past 2 months. We spent a lot of time together. We have discussed a lot about cricket, on being back in the locker room, and everything else “,” Nair added.
